Intellectual Disabilities

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

The vulnerable are at the heart of Caritas. These members of our social mission family dedicate their cause to caring for people with intellectual disabilities through day activity centres and the provision of training and development programmes.

Vulnerable individuals are at the center of the Caritas Singapore family’s efforts. Our member organisations are dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities in leading fulfilling and meaningful lives. This is achieved through the provision of day activity centers and training and development programs that are tailored to the needs of this community. The goal of these initiatives is to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to reach their full potential, while providing them with the resources and support they need to overcome the challenges they face. Through their tireless efforts, Caritas Singapore is working to create a more inclusive society where all individuals, regardless of ability, are given the opportunity to thrive and lead meaningful lives.
