Catholic Family Life assumes and integrates the operations of Family Life Society and the Archdiocesan Commission for the Family. This allows us to better focus on our Catholic roots and ethos, as we continue our efforts to form, empower and restore families to flourish in the intimate love of God. Through our programmes and services, we will continue to promote the dignity of all individuals and families, to go forth and be visible signs of God’s love to the world, serving all just as the first missionaries did, regardless of race, language, and religion.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Provide counselling to individuals, couples, or families to enhance their emotional and psychological well-being.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Counselling or equivalent.
  • Required to serve at least 1 afternoon (2:30pm-5:00pm) or 1 evening (7:30pm-10:00pm) per week to attend to clients.
  • Attend monthly supervision, quarterly training, and community retreats.
  • Adhere to Code of Conduct under Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).

Commitment period:

  • Minimum 12 months
  • To clock in at least 1 afternoon (2:30pm-5:00pm) or 1 evening (7:30pm-10:00pm) per week to attend to clients.

    • Provide your volunteer and work experience as well as your educational background that are relevant to counselling.
