Our Executive Director, Christine was part of the panel discussion on Governance, Risk Management & Internal Controls – Contribution to Sustainability & Growth of the Charity Sector on Friday, 31 August at the SGX Auditorium.

This Conference on Governance, Risk Management & Internal Controls – Adding Value Across the Organisation was organised by Shared Services for Charities.

Christine shared on how as much as governance is important, it is also important for VWOs to explore innovative ways to function within COC guidelines. This includes tapping on the pro bono services offered by Shared Services for Charities.

On the panel with Christine are other experts in the field, Thanabalan Ladamuthu (Chairman of Audit Committee, Hindu Endowments Board), Suhaimi Zainul-Abidin (Director, Quantedge Foundation, Council Member, Charity Council) with moderator, Dennis Lee (ED, RSM Risk Advisory Pte Ltd).
