Philanthropy & Partnerships Executive

The Philanthropy & Partnerships Executive is responsible for the engagement of social mission minded Catholics and non-Catholics to give their time and money in support of the causes that we champion to serve the most vulnerable in our society.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day fundraising processes:
  • Manage Caritas Singapore’s online fundraising platforms e.g. giving.sg, website etc.
  • Works closely with Finance team on donation process and related issues e.g. GIRO rejections, receipts request, invalid cheques, reconciliation etc.
  • Issue e-receipts and mail out physical receipts to donors in a timely manner.
  • Manage and answer donors’ queries.
  • Manage and maintain donor information, transactions in the Donor Management System (DMS) in an accurate and timely manner for tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure positive experience for donors.
  • Build relationships with existing donors so as to maintain donor loyalty and conversion.
  • Manage fundraising initiatives such as Charities week, Charity events etc.
  • Any other duties, including supporting other Caritas events as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • At least a tertiary degree education
  • Experience in a non-profit organisation is an advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to analyse data and give clear, concise information, and recommend appropriate steps
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and work independently with little guidance
  • Prior experience using Salesforce and Excel will be an added advantage

Finance Executive

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review vendors & staff purchase requisition for compliance to Procurement Policy
  • Manage creation & approval of purchase orders
  • Review invoices & staff claims for compliance to Procurement Policy
  • Support Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets activities
  • Support financial month end closing activities
  • Support ad hoc duties when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Meticulous, adaptable and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation
  • Experience in social service sectors will be an added advantage
  • Able to start work immediately or at short notice

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with non-profit Salesforce solutions (e.g., Nonprofit Success Pack).
  • Knowledge of donation and volunteer platforms and accounting integrations.
