The Youth Empire organized a charity fundraiser theatre production called, “Day I Met the Prince” written by Kuo Pao Kun on 25 – 27 April 2007. This fundraiser which is the 1st Installation of The Youth Empire’s Art & Culture Genre, a Youth Initiated Charity Fundraiser Theatre Production, "Day I Met The Prince", raised S$6,088 for the Catholic Social and Community Council CSCC.
About the event: "Day I Met The Prince" was one of the English Plays that was written by the late Kuo Pao Kun who is a renowned name and literati genius in the Arts Scene in Singapore. |
And this particular play will be staged at an unconventional space, Zouk which will be transformed into the perfect setting for "The Prince" and "I" as they push the boundaries of the conventional theatre mode and allow audiences to experience vicariously the process of opposing institutional and societal rigidity on an individual level. |
