The Charities Week 2007 was organised during Lenten 2007 by CSCC in collaboration with the Catholic Welfare Services (CWS) who had traditionally conducted this fund raising exercise. CSCC also worked with Singapore Pastoral Institute (SPI) on “Our Lenten Journey” booklets which were distributed to all Catholic families through the parishes to help guide them on a journey of reflection during the Lenten period. |
Appeal flyers with envelopes were distributed to all parishes and Catholic schools.
More than 12,000 donation envelopes were received.
The donations from across the Archdiocese spoke volumes of parishioners' generosity.
Charities Week 2007 raised a total amount of $3,472,750. The breakdown
