Caritas Singapore is the umbrella body for charity and community organisations under the Archdiocese of Singapore. One of Caritas Singapore's objectives is to provide a common pool of funds for these organisations, so that they may better focus on their core missions and beneficiaries.

Collectively, the various social and community organisational members of Caritas Singapore raise more than S$10m of funds a year. With the formation of Caritas Singapore, many of these organisations will now draw from Caritas Singapore's common pool of funds. However, several of the member organisations will continue with their own fundraising exercises such as the Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP) which does monthly second collections at the parishes.
Donations will help more than 50,000 beneficiaries in the community, regardless of race, religion or nationality. These include the poor, migrant workers, families in crisis, and others in need in the community. View “Who You Help When You Donate” and View "Quotes from those who are helped" |
