Marine Parade FSC believes in the preciousness of life, human dignity and family being the cornerstone of both the individual’s growth and the society’s advancement. They also believe in communal life that transcends ethnicity, language and religion.
Professional Counsellors from accredited institutions provide counselling services to adults and families of all walks of life and financial background from our fully equipped counselling rooms in the centre where they experience support, discover clarity and enhance coping.
Professional Social workers provide assistance to individuals and families that are going through life crisis, financial difficulties or requiring liaison with community resources.

People from all walks of life make contact with MPFSC from telephone calls to walk-ins to make enquiries on our services and other related resources for themselves.
Monthly Group Life Skills Workshops
Family Empowerment Programmes like family life education, practical parenting workshops and family-bonding workshops are held to equip both parents/care givers and children in working towards increased life skills and better resiliency in their functioning.
An After-School Care Service provided for students of Ngee Ann Primary School in its school premises. Community resources are mobilized to implement a full range of mainly non-academic programmes for the students.
Children Life Achievement Programme
This tuition and befriending programme assists children of age 7 to 12 from existing low-income families under our care by providing them with academic supervision and equip them with the necessary life skills to cope with adversities and to empower these children from multi-complex families.
One-to-one real time online counselling chat service is provided to students from selected Secondary Schools to provide them with an alternate reality youth channel to share their feelings and struggles online with trained cyber-counsellors. The service operates throughout the year from
Mondays – Fridays 2.pm – 6pm.
This outreach programme commissioned by MCYS under the Step-Up initiative is conducted at Assumption Vocational Training Centre. It has over the years strengthened in its effort to support the students in the school system with a comprehensive range of guidance and developmental programmes so as to build social and emotional resilience in the youth.
Good life@ South East is a wellness centre aims at promoting successful ageing and to build a self-help community of seniors. Good life members benefit from comprehensive range of programmes and activities that cater to their physical well-being.
The first community project dedicated to promote lifelong learning among senior citizens, pursuing a new skill, a new language and knowledge that enhance their well-being.
Marine Parade Family Service Centre is a joint project by the South East Community Development Council, Catholic Welfare Services, Singapore and Brothers of St Gabriel. It was registered as a society in 28 Sept 2000 (RoS No. 0225/2000) and a charity in 24 Nov 2000 (Charity No. 001472) and IPC status from 1 Oct 2002 to 30 Sept 2008.
