What is it about?
This programme incorporates a group study guide published by Caritas Singapore Community Council and the Singapore Pastoral Institute to help working Catholics to reflect how the Catholic Social Teaching can be applied to common and relevant workplace issues. It opens up discussions on how the principles can guide us on issues such as spirituality at work; money matters; workers’ rights; work ethics; peer relationships and much more.
Labourers of the Harvest programme is intended for reflection and discussion in groups. You can form your own groups or join an existing group.
Who should attend?
This study guide is for everyone but it will be more relevant to working Catholics who will be better able to relate to the issues being discussed. It will give a better understanding of how the Catholic Social Teaching helps to integrate faith in our work. It will give us a better understanding of why we do what we are doing, add meaning and purpose to our work and give us a better sense of our mission in life.
